il_lupo_mannaro
Hi all, since I bought my system, 10 months ago, I'm experiencing stability problems with odd BSODs. Fisrt, I was thinking they were related to the OS. Now, reading some forums on the net, I'm guessing they should be related to RAM issues/settings. I never changed anything on the BIOS settings, they are still the default ones. Would somenone of you suggest me the optimal BIOS settings for my combo? Thx in advance for your support. il_lupo_mannaro
you can try test your ram with memtest86+ check this thread for more info : http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38201 also you can take a note when BSOD happens note the bsod code, its the one with 0x***** code I was not able to prepare a bootable USB and to run memtest86+ :brick: In the meantime I downloaded and tried Memtest inside windows and immediately reported a lot of errors: what does it mean? Since yesterday morning I didn't get any new BSOD: it's possible to look somewhere for the old BSOD codes?

trackrat
Try manually BIOS settings for your RAM of 9-9-9-27, 2T @ 1333 MHz. @ 1.65 V and see if this helps. Without Memtesting the DIMMs there is little we can do to help you.

Without Memtesting the DIMMs there is little we can do to help you. I set BIOS as you suggested: no BSOD until now. I burned Memtest86+ on a CD and I immediately got several errors. I stopped it after reached the 100% top bar (1 1/2 hours) and ~45.000 errors were reported. What to do now?
trackrat
Did you test ONE DIMM at a time to see if an individual memory module is bad?
il_lupo_mannaro
Did you test ONE DIMM at a time to see if an individual memory module is bad? I finally tested the two memory stick separately and the errors only happened with one of them on the MB: that means it's bad, isn't it? Should a proceed with RMA? I will have to send back both of them?
trackrat
Yes I would RMA the set and see if a new pair will resolve the issue.
