I have recently bought Corsair Force 80GB SSD but its performing tooo slow .

:brick:

I ran HD TUNE and I am getting avg read speed only 110MBPS .

BUT my frnd who has Corsair Force 60GB SSD he got above 210MBPS read speed in HD TUNE .

Also this device is performing very slow in almost each and every tests .

Should I send this to RMA ?

I have just changed my SATA ports couple of time but the result is still very very low .

I just ran HD Tune once more and guess what the result is toooo bad for a Corsair SSD .

Min 2.7MB/s and avg 107MB/s

Plz help me I didn't expected such a low SSD performance from Corsair

FEW thing I want to ask ..

Is my Intel C2Q Q9550 and P45 chipset ICH10 limiting the drive's performance ?

Or going from VISTA SP2 to WINDOWS 7 can help its performance ?

Does core i7 really necessary to get the best result from any SSD ?

No, no, and no.

Your drive is borked, RMA it.
