I reseated twice with AS5, had a house fan blow directly into my case, and push/pull method exhaust. i still get high temperatures. I idle at 50c. and full load at high 80c low 90c with OC'd i7-930 3.8 GHz. I am considerably unsatisfied with this product. I contacted corsair about the issue and they stated, "your temperatures are within the range for this CPU". this is ridiculous with the fact i could be getting the same temps with a stock cooler, and maybe even less. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 5, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 5, 2010 xfluux, Your temps definitely sound too high if you are idling at 50C, but there are many factors that can effect the CPU temperature so it's difficult to guarantee a set temperature that everyone should be seeing in every system.
