Useraid
Used to have X25M in system, since installing F120 several months ago each time system has hibernated it would resume but be semi frozen, i.e. no new content could load on screen necessitating a restart. Not really looked into this issue until now, and flashed drive with firmware 2 which has not helped. Now if I enter PC into 'sleep' on w7 menu upon resuming the GFX card fan will just spin loud and nothing else will happen like it is in some strange pre-POST mode. Does drive need to be RMA'd or is this a firmware issue? If it is, frankly I should get my money back, as my system needs to be able to resume from hibernate. I doubt there is any issues with my setup, as the previous Intel SSD worked perfectly with identical system software.
Wired
Some Gigabyte motherboards have been known to have compatibility issues with SandForce SSDs. They've released beta BIOSes to fix it, but it's always best to contact them first just to make sure. Here's the link for your board. Beta BIOS came out end of September. http://oldforum.gigabyte.de/forumdownload/betabios/20100811/P35CDS3R.zip
