3lmo00oo Posted November 4, 2010 Share Posted November 4, 2010 hey there everyone When I try to install the audio drivers from the CD I get this error: Error Code: -5006 : 0x80070005 Error Information: >SetupNew\setup.cpp (597) PAPP: PVENDOR: PGUID:71B53BA8-4BE3-49AF-BC3E-07F392DDDFB7 $16.0.0.435 @Windows Vista / Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (6002) IE Version: 8.0.7600.16385 I have tried DL'ing straight from the website but it still comes up the same. Cpu: Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 @ 2.5Ghz Ram: 4Gb GPU: SLi m8800 GTX it is not a fresh install of the OS, I did upgrade from Vista about 2 weeks ago. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 4, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 4, 2010 That can happen sometimes when you move a HDD from one system to another Windows registry may be corrupt. Can you test the HS-1 on another system? If it installs on another system that might suggest you need to do a fresh install on this system.
