leodee
Hi, The PSU has performed very well until last week and then I began to experience abrupt shutting down with my HX1000. (Not a blue screen shutdown). It would re-boot right away with no problems. On occasion it would re-boot and shut down without completing. It didn't seem to matter if I was active or not, it would just shut down. Heat is not a problem as I have adequate cooling. (HAF case). No over clocking involved. To satisfy my mind, I replaced the HX1000 with a VX550 from my other computer and have had no problems since. I used my air compressor to blow any dust out of the HX1000 and installed it in my old computer which has the identical motherboard (ASUS A8N-SLI) but with an AMD3500 single core, 4x512 Corsair Value Select, 2x500 gb drives and a Nvida GeForce 7300 GS. video card. The shut down problem persists. If you have any suggestions to further troubleshoot the HX1000 let me know and I'll try it. Thanks, leodee
