bassam64i
CMD8GX3M4A1333C7 8GB AMD kit on intel X48 chipset due to the lack of upgrade options on the market for my GA-X48T-DQ6 board, Im very tempted to use this AMD kit on this board, it may not use the BMEP feature as it is not an AMD board, but I think it should work...anyone tried this??? trackrat
Unfortunately there is no means to know without testing it as every mobo/DIMM is different. It would seem like an Intel approved 8 GB. kit would make more sense? Maybe Ram Guy has a suggestion?
bassam64i
are the new low voltage DDR3 modules compatible with older X48 motherboards?
trackrat
It looks like it according to the mobo specs. http://www.gigabyte.com/search/search.aspx?kw=GA-X48T-DQ6+%28rev.+1.1%29 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128330
bassam64i
yep, I can confirm that 8GB of 1333Mhz low voltage RAMs 1.65V does work well on this GA-X48T-DQ6 board.
