cloneman
Just got this. I was running portableapps off it, and it felt REALLY sluggish, and would feel like it was hanging. Even through sequential speeds were great. So it put it to the test vs the drive it was supposed to replace, using crystaldiskmark 3.0 x64, and found that small file write speeds (512k/4k/4kQD32) are very low in comparison. I believe the drive is defective. Any comments? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 2, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 2, 2010 You drive is fine maybe a little slower but that can be the system. How is it formatted? NTFS or FAT32?
cloneman
NTFS. Tried fat32, it was a little worse :/
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 2, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 2, 2010 Please try and format the drive with the Format utility from the SD-CARD Organization. Then run the test again and see if that helps.
