kmercer6
I have a Corair H50, Intel i7-950, Antec 902 Case, Corair TX650w, Sapphire HD6870, and a Gigabyte . I have the pump plugged into PWR_FAN and the radiator fan into the CPU_FAN. Under full load my temps are 55-59 degrees C. Idle my temps are 29-32 degrees C. I am testing these numbers with Speedfan. It shows Fans1-5. Fan1 shows 1611 RPM and Fan3 shows 1372RPM. Are these numbers normal? I read reviews that show my numbers should be lower but the reviews usually use a i7-920. djmorgan
What is your ambient temp? ie. the temp in your room. For the H70 the pump should be running at 1400 rpm +/- the stock fans without resistor 2000 rpm +/-, I believe the H50 is the same. Can't you monitor your fan speed with your mobo? kmercer6
The room temp right now is a little warmer then I like. The other tenants are keeping it warm in here so its about 25 C. Should there be a setting in the BIOS to bump it to a certain level?
kmercer6
After looking in the BIOS I couldn't locate asetting. It said CPU was at 1600 and the other was right around 1400. The CPU header is plugged into the fan that is cooling the radiator and the other is the h50 pump.
