hey guys,

I've recently up upgraded my system hardware and was wondering if my HX650W would still be able to take on this build or should i upgrade to a 850?

my old system specs were:

Cooler Master Storm Scout | Asus P5Q Deluxe Motherboard | Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz | Zalman CNPS 10X Extreme Heatsink | P A TRIOT Viper 2x2GB DDR2 RAM 1066MHz (2 sets total of 8GB)| XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB DDR5 | Two O CZ 30GB Solid state Drives Running RAID 0 Configuration | WD 1TB Caviar Black (for Storage) | WD 1TB Caviar Green (for Backup) | Samsung SH-B083L Blu-Ray ROM & DVD Writer | 3 scythe 120MM cooling fans | 2 A n tec 3-speed 120MM cooling fans.

my upgrades:

Asus Sabertooth X58 Motherboard

Intel i7 950 3.06GHz (not OC'd)

Corsair H70 water-cooled CPU heatsink

Corsair Tri-Channel XMS3 DDR3-1600 3X2GB

a second XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB DDR5 (CROSSFIRE)

WD 2TB Caviar Green HDD added

the reason i'm asking is because the processor alone required 140W under load and my graphic cards need about 250W a piece.

For now i have taken out 1 of the video cards and my HDD's to lighen the load because I'm paranoid but before i go out and buy a new PSU i thought i'd ask to see what you guys think?

Thanks in advance guys

esberelias I show you GPU only power consumption and you show me whole system power consumption.

wow....I didn't even clue in about that....newb mistake my apologize!

My bad Wired won't happen again :)

I ended up buying a hx850w because i have another build coming up and i could just use my 650 in the other build.
