lordraptor1 Posted October 27, 2010 Share Posted October 27, 2010 ok to make a long story short i have a issue and my e-mails have gone unanswered. i was suppose to receive a xship in my rma and ups traking number shows it was delivered yet i have NEVER received it. here is the tracking number showing it as delivered: 1ZA3969T0347169237 i have tried repeatedly to e-mail corsair and tried contcting ram guy twice to have corsair look into it but have hear no response from either. i am really disappointed that i am still havig to run off of a single stick of my dual stick kit because somewhere the package sent to me through ups has disappeared keep in mind i am not blaming corsair because i myself have seen the way ups handles packages and i am actually surprised items arent more heavily damaged by te time packages get to you via ups. so if someone at corsair would send a reply back to me via e-mail i would greatly appreciate it as i dont get on corsair forum much due to me startign my own forum for rc and other hobbies. my e-mail is lordraptor1@yahoo.com please contact me asap so we can see what we need to do because i know the package was sent and i also know i never received it and i am still sitting here running 2 gigs out of my 4 gig kit because of not receiveng the replacement. thank in advance. lordraptor1 Posted October 27, 2010 Author Share Posted October 27, 2010 i just checked with ups and it seems i am screwed, they left it on my porch and no one here at the house got it so i assume someone stole the package off of my porch :mad:. now i dont know what to do, it is not corsairs fault i didnt get the replacement ram, yet if i follow through on my end i am still without a system due to no ram. anyone from corsair have any ideas? lordraptor1 Posted October 28, 2010 Author Share Posted October 28, 2010 yeah but i dont have renters insurance and i cant afford to replace teh ram either, so if i send the bad set in i wont have any system at all. unfortunatley filing a police report here is useless, have filed one when i was assaulted and another when i had a gun pulled on my by some crazy woman in my yard and teh police did NOTHING in both cases. so if anyone has any other ideas or has a 4 gig kit of 800 MHz DDR2 ram they want to donate so i will at least still be able to use my pc let me know, while at the same time i urge corsair to reconsider their shipper because of their practices in delivery methods. lordraptor1 Posted October 28, 2010 Author Share Posted October 28, 2010 well i dont have a waiver with ups and the last time i found a package from ups next to my door a raised hell with them and here they are doing it again only this time they have put me in a bind, so at this point i want to see what options are open. ups has been a disster for me and i know there are a lot of people on r/c forums now using alternatives because of ups practices. anyway the issue remains i am disappointed becaus eups "delivered" teh package, yet i did not actually receive it. so i need options as i am stuck between a rock and a hard place here thanks to ups. lordraptor1 Posted October 28, 2010 Author Share Posted October 28, 2010 will do ram guy, i really hate ups personally and i try to avoid them at all costs, they once damaged a shipment i made to canada that cost me 400.00 (rc boat sold for 500.00 and ups only reimbursed 100.00 after they boxed it and totaled it in transport). anyway i will keep you informed. IMHO it is ups that should have to fix it because it was their error, not mine and not corsairs but with my experiences with ups they will squirm out of it like they always do.
