Tuga
Hello everyone I got problem my GT memory fans are connected to SYS FAN1 and in bios (PC Health Tab) it shows that my fans are working on ~4.2k rpm speed. Is that normal or not? Should I open support ticket? My mobo is : GA-X58A-UD5 (rev. 2.0) Can those fans make any noise and is it possible to control them? hellhound604
I guess that is normal, my fans run at a very high speed if not controlled (also 4000+rpm). They do make a (slight) noise when running at full speed, but remember, slight noise for me is debatable, as I have 13 fans + 3 pumps running in my machine ;). you can run them via a fan-controller. have a look if you can set your motherboard to control the speed of the fans, then you don't need an extra fan-controller, or resistor-mod. btw. I have found that my RAM temps are cool enough even when the fans run below 1000 RPM.
