Mikey Spoony
Hi all I've just joined here and i have a problem with the write speeds on my Reactor 60gb SSD. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, with all the usual stuff disabled e.g. system restore, defrag etc. I've also just recently tried the Restoring SSD performance tutorial on this forum but no performance improvements were made. Bios is set to AHCI Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need any more info just ask! :) Thank you! Here's a screen shot of ATTO benchmark http://img814.imageshack.us/img814/7356/attobench.jpg
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 27, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 27, 2010 I have not seen this MB but I suspect you installed the chipset driver rather than using the default MS IDE driver and if so please un-install it and see if that improves the performance. Mikey Spoony
It's OK now I've set the hard drive mode in the bios to UDMA 6 from auto and it's back up to speed. Thanks for your help though! :)
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 28, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 28, 2010 NP sounds like they may need to update the MB BIOS if that is the work around.
