Will TW3X4G1600C9D and CM3X2G1600C9DHX be compatible with each other?

I'm upgrading my current rig (ASUS Crosshair III) that has CM3X2G1600C9DHX and I am wanting to know if TW3X4G1600C9D G is compatible with it.

I'm assuming that the stats are identical so compatibility shouldn't be an issue. However, you know what they say about assuming, that and I may have overlooked a detail or two. Many thanks for your time and help.

Unfortunately mixing of RAM kits is never guaranteed to work, let alone mixing of two different RAM kits. Some people get lucky when mixing RAM but the only means to be certain that four modules will play nice is to buy a tested, matched set.

Thank you for your timely response. I contacted Newegg after having already purchased the ram THEN asking the question, anyways they are going to give me a RMA without the restocking fee for an unopened Item. My next question is CMX8GX3M4B1333C9 is that my only option for a 4 stick solution when it comes to my Crosshair III? I understand that the ram is not really the limiting factor when hitting the 1600 mark, but rather the motherboard and memory controllers.

Corsair also shows the CMD8GX3M4A1333C7 to be AMD Phenom II compatible. It has a C7 latency but the same 1333 MHz. rated frequency. The CMX8GX3M4B1333C9 is specifically approved for the Asus Crosshair III so that's probably your best choice.
