dxhcom
I had one VS2BG1333D3 memory installed. Recently, I bought another memory of same model name. But after I installed them in dual-channel slots, my system became unstable. After examining the memory, I found one memory is single sided, and the other is double sided! Is this the reason for system instability? My motherboard MSI 870A G54. What can I do now? So they cannot use in dual-channel slots? If I RMA the new one and I buy another new one, how can I know they match in dual-channel slots? I didn't find any difference in specifications when I bought them. Thanks! trackrat
Unfortunately the only means to have matched, tested DIMMs that are guaranteed compatible is to buy one KIT of RAM. Perhaps you can sell your existing RAM and purchase one KIT? Mixing of RAM even of the same part number is not guaranteed.
