wyrmrender
Hi RAM Gurus, ************************************************ * RAM: HX3X12G1600C9 (Matched kit of 2GB x 6) * Mobo: Asus P6T * BIOS: "Auto" for everything (Not overclocking) ************************************************ My PC has been rock solid since March 2010 (it still is). However, during a recent bootup, I noticed that it was only recognizing 10GB instead of 12GB. I booted to BIOS, and sure enough, only 10GB shows there too. I booted with each of the 6 DIMMS in slot "A1" (swapping them out one at a time)...one of them wouldn't even post . The remaining five DIMMS posted and passed Memtest successfully. I believe this qualifies as an RMA, but please let me know if I'm missing something obvious. Thanks in advance, -Wyrm
Crusheddream
That sir is indeed a bad stick RMA it. If your machine won't POST with one stick then the stick is bad so yea i would submit an RMA.
