bender1234
Hello I just bought a new system with CMP8GX3M4A1600C8 (4x2gb 1600 dominator ddr3), wich doesn't seem to play. My asus sabertooth x58 only detects 4gb of ram, and I'm running on auto on everything. I have also upgraded to the latest bios with no luck at all. What's going on here, and is there any way to fix this? I have stuck the memory modules at the correct location, wich according to the manual should be channel A1,A2,B1,C1. I have a i7 950 cpu. Best regards, Bender
Yellowbeard
That is not the correct kit of memory for X58 motherboards. Ideally, you need to run 3 or 6 modules on X58. Try running only 3 modules in the correct slots for 3 module configurations and see how it does.
