mastupristi
Hi, I'm going to buy HX3X12G1600C9 to have 12GB on ASUS P6X58D-E. which Bios configuration do I need to set to make all works and make memory run @1600MHz? The on-line memory configurator provided by Corsair says that this kit (HX3X12G1600C9) is compatible with MoBo, but I have some doubts: In the MoBo manual is written: "Due to Intel spec definition, X.M.P. DIMMs and DDR3-1600 are supported for one DIMM per channel only" This is a little bit confusing for me, because HX3X12G1600C9 is an XMP memory, runs @1600, and it is a 6x2GB kit; so I thougth I cannot populate all DIMM sockets. But configurator says that it is supported by that Mobo. Who is right and who is wrong (if there is)? thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 21, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 21, 2010 You can simply just load the XMP profile and it will work.
