MilavFojul
Hi, I bought this computer with the TW3X4G1333C9DHX v.2.0 1.65V and later I bought another 4go of TW3X4G1333C9DHX and I received the v3.2 1.5V. With this new RAM, my computer won't boot, I got an anormal "Beep". I don't have problem with the v.2.0.... In my BIOS, I set AUTO for the voltage and I try 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7Volt. The RAM settings are right. Please, answer me. PS: Sorry for my english.
trackrat
Mixing of different RAM kits is not guaranteed and rarely works. Please read the "guide" regarding RAM upgrades at the link below. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=71085
MilavFojul
I don't mix the RAM, I try it separatly... TW3X4G1333C9DHX version 2.0 and TW3X4G1333C9DHX version 3.2 can not work in both ? Please, answer me.
trackrat
Two different Versions of the same RAM Part Number are not guaranteed to work together. You can try slower timings and frequency with these four DIMMs but there is no guarantee they will work together as they are not identical parts and they were not tested and sold as one matched 8 GB. kit. Try 11-11-11-30 2T 1.5V @ 1066 MHz. If that works try upping the voltage to 1.65V and the frequency to 1333 MHz. If neither works you're unlikely to ever find a solution to using two RAM kits instead of one tested 8 GB. kit.
MilavFojul
Hi, thank you for your answer. I don't put the 4 RAM. The TW3X4G1333C9DHX v2.0 work fine. WHen I replace them by the TW3X4G1333C9DHX v.3.2 kit, the computer won't boot and give me a shot beep. Please, answer me.
trackrat
Sorry I misunderstood what you were saying. Try booting with one of the new DIMMs in the #1 slot. If that works replace it with the other DIMM and see if it boots.
