gchq
Hi there Looking around I can only see examples of the H50 used with a single processor! Does anyone have any experience with a multiprocessor set-up? I have ordered the SuperMicro SYS-7046T-6F with two X5680 processors and two H50 cooling units (shipping today). It looks like it might be a tight fit!
Yellowbeard
Your case will be the determining factor. As long as you have 2 mounting points on the case, close enough to the CPU sockets, you should be fine.

gchq
Sadly the H50's will not fit! The chassis and airflow will not permit anything of that size!
jetboy
Sounds like its time to modify the case. :)
Lorthos
Sounds like its time to modify the case. :) Bad idea on a server case like that with an integrated motherboard. Would void his warranty in two seconds flat.... He right about the airflow too, only way to possibly do it is exhaust which is not an option on that case either...
