HHawk
Well I already contact tech support about this, but apparantly they aren't in a hurry to respond or provide me with a good solution. I have a problem with my new system setup. The case is the new Lian Li V2120X and a new Corsair AX1200 PSU. The problem is, that the 24-PIN ATX power cable is to short and also both (2x) CPU power cables are to short to work with in this case. Now if I remembered correctly I somewhere read on the forum that you will lose warranty when you use extension cables... Is this right? If yes, will Corsair send me longer cables or Corsair approved cable extensions? Currently I cannot use my new system because of this. Sigh... Wired
Using extension cables won't void the warranty AFAIK. Got a link to what you're referring to? Just not recommended to make your own :)
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 20, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 20, 2010 We do not provide extensions or custom cables for our modular PSUs, but you should be able to use any standard 3rd party extension cable.
