Asus P5E3 Deluxe and CMP4GX3M2A1600C9

I want to set up the best configuration for this machine its going to be used just for gaming

 

(I have updated the Bios from 1303 to 1502 Beta)

 

So this is what i have tried:

 

Tried X.M.P 1066,9-9-9-24-2N-1,65v

With these settings NO POST (machine is on, but no post beep)

 

These are the timings i have used 1066,9-9-9-24-2N-1,66v

With these settings NO POST (machine is on, but no post beep)

 

Tried 1066,9-9-9-24-1N-1,66v

With these settings i get NO POST (machine is on, but no post beep)

 

Tried 1066,8-9-9-Auto, 1,66v

POST-ok

 

Tried 1066,8-9-9-9-2N,1,66v

POST-ok - is this the best configuration for these ram modules and the P5E3 Deluxe?

 

 

Is the P5E3 Deluxe not sold so much, like the P5E3 Deluxe Wifi?

seems to be alot of information on corsair mem for Wifi edition but not for regular Deluxe edition, but they are basicly the same card,right?

 

Thanks for any help, feel free to share experience with corsair and bios etc for this card.

seems that a lot of people i talked with have issues with this card and corsair modules.

And now iam getting Bluescreen

 

Reboots past BIOS post ok, but cant even see the bluescreen, (reboots so fast)

 

The timings are the same as i have used before

You have to OC your CPU to allow the memory to run at 1600 on that rig.

 

Reset the BIOS, test one stick at a time in each slot using Test one stick at a time in each slot using Memtest86+ v4.10.

its not 1600 its 1066, i am not OC the cpu, just trying to get these sticks work at the optimal

settings, the system is going to be used for games only :)

I know what you're trying to do, I'm just telling you about the rated spec. Question though, why get 1600 MHz memory if you're not going to run it at that speed?

I got it cheap :) and besides the FSB on this rig doesent allow 1600

 

never mind all that, whats the best configuration

Pretty much default settings will be optimal for that speed. May be able to lower the voltage / timings though. Tighter timings could get you a small boost in performance.

so,what do you suggest? I mean the timings? Iam currently running it ok with

8-9-9-24-2N-1,66v, i played Medal of honor on it all night, but when i try turning it on today it goes into bluescreen, still yesterday it played games and video?!???:confused:

Try loosening the Cas latency to 9 and raising the voltage to the memory to 1.7v
