babbar Posted October 17, 2010 Author Share Posted October 17, 2010 thanks worked like a charm! where would i find the release notes? oh and another thing i don't know if it's related or not but after installing the firmware update crystaldiskinfo says my ssd's temp is 60c, that's pretty high it wasn't like that before. and hwmonitor shows the same 60c. Oh those release notes don't think there are any, in any case the new firmware did nothing in my case except raise the temp readings. LOL I realy hope the next firmware will fix it all. The firmware update was supposed to fix a SMART error that users were getting after a secure erase. If you didn't secure erase your drive, then most likely you will not see any changes after installing 1.1a over 1.0. While fixing the SMART error it introduced a new one..with temperature readings.
