chetansha
Hi, Would you recommend these memories on MSI 890GXM-65 board ? And the proccy is AMD Athlon x4 630 - Propus 4GB Corsair Dominator DHX PC3-16000 2000MHz DDR3 2000 2 x 2GB Modules .
trackrat
As long as your MSI mobo is built to AMD's specs this memory should function fine. You should note from the link below that the timings are 9-9-9-24 @ 1.9V for 2000 MHz. with a dual core CPU. Considering that AMD only supports up to 1333 MHz. RAM frequencies, your system may not be able to run this memory at 2000 MHz. even with a higher voltage? http://www.corsair.com/_datasheets/tw3x4g2000c9df.pdf
chetansha
Hmm so basically I will not be able to get the full benefit of 2000, . Ty :)
trackrat
It might? No one knows until you test your PC. When you OC there are no guarantees as my signature explains. For you to be able to run the RAM at 2000 MHz. everything in your PC - CPU/Mobo/RAM/PSU/VID/etc. needs to play nice at that frequency. Otherwise you'll be limited by the stability of the least capable component.
