F60 boot failure and freezing

Hello,

 

I knew that I had problem with my F60, but this is something new.

While I was playing world of warcraft, my computer froze, so I was forced to reboot my computer, and it could not find boot disk.

No matter what I do, computer would not find boot drive, so I switched to IDE mode from bio, and I was able to find boot disk.

 

DO I need to update any bio? it's 1.0 F60.

Try the 1.1 firmware in the SSD Firmware Update section. Also, if you continue to have issues, we have a firmware due out very soon that should resolve them if upgrading to the 1.1 firmware does not. If you do continue to have issues, we suggest disabling the hybrid sleep mode, disable suspend to RAM, and use suspend to disk until the next firmware is out.

I already disabled sleep mode, but how do you disable suspend to ram and use suspend to disk?

You adjust it in the BIOS. Look for your power management section of the BIOS and adjust it there.

i do not have those options in bios for adjustment, is there any other way to manage it?
