spiderdijon
Hello, I seem to have a problem with my PSU. It seems the fan has died on it. It never spins even immeadiately after powering on. The temperature of the casing is also almost too hot to touch. It under 2 years old. I have no idea how long it has been broken, the system seems to work properly for the most part, I have been experiencing a few unexplained crashes during the past month or so. I'm writing here to make sure that it is indeed broken. I have been monitoring the fan all day and it has not spun up once even when playing graphically intense games. I believe I should RMA, would this be the best thing to do? I know I could replace the fan myself but obviously don't want to void the warranty. Thanks. spiderdijon
Thanks, I have submitted an RMA request. I just removed the unit and actually burnt my hands when I grabbed it! I'll have to be content using my aging pentium m 1.2GHz laptop untill my desktop is back in operation :(:
