greenbandit
Is it possible to use or schedule the TRIM function on an F40 when using Windows XP? I want to fit a F40 SSD to my no.4 PC and use a spare Windows XP code that I have. I already have 4 intel SSDs in use on other Windows XP PCs, but I am not prepare to buy Windows 7 just so I can use a Corsair SSD on the PC I am about to rebuild. If the only way to use the TRIM function on an F40 is with Windows 7, I'll stick with XP and put the cash towards another Intel SSD. Surely Corsair have got this covered, can anyone help? Synbios
Simple answer, the only two OSes that support TRIM are Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7.
Yellowbeard
The Force series has its own garbage collection called Recycler. It will help keep your disk clean. Just being clear, you won't get TRIM using XP, regardless of what SSD you chose.
