xackley527
I just purchased the TX750w and I wanted to just make sure the power supply worked so I plugged it into the wall and turned it on. Nothing seemed to happen. I was wondering if the fan just doesnt run unless its using the power? I did not plug anything into the power supply but I was just wondering if I have to in order for it to work?
Mer
You could test it using the paperclip test or plug it into the PC.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 14, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 14, 2010 You have to have the 24 pin connector plugged in for the PSU to turn on. You can bypass this by doing the paperclip test.
