Dominator GT [SPD profiles needed]

Recommended Posts

Would need full profiling of 2 block set as clearly I didn't get through to Corsair support while asking ICs. All I want to know is are these ICs exact same or not without official crap. :roll:

So, as someone probably here got these blocks:

* CMG6GX3M3A1600C7 3x6GB

* CMG6GX3M3A2000C7 3x6GB

I would need 'SPDTool' saved dump of profiling these memory blocks, thanks. :biggrin: :sunglasse

(for the forum staff: I am only trying to determ which blocks to buy, if you can answer my question clean straight up would be good as well as profiles.)

The ICs won't be the same unless the version number on the module is the same. The part number does not tell what ICs are on the module.

So, I have to yet again play lottery with corsair also ? no go.

We're gonna be waiting for profiles I trust they don't change profiles batches much so wanna see what timings there are on each set.

Well, perhaps someone can tell me does the 2000Mhz CL7 set then go CL5-6 1600-1866Mhz ?

CMG6GX3M3A1600C7 = 7-7-7-20

CMG6GX3M3A2000C7 = 7-8-7-20

Those are the official specs. What's your end goal? Are you attempting to mix kits (which isn't guaranteed or recommended)?

Not trying to mix anything. I am trying to buy decent memory which seems incredible hard as with DDR2. I come from using several kits from ******** and

they cannot offer me decent solution because they are running out of blocks and I cannot get them locally.

With Corsair story is different on retailer and I am trying to find decent ICs, if an 2000Mhz goes to CL7-8-7-20 where 1600Mhz modules goes to CL7-7-7-20 2000Mhz module ICs most be better for tighter latencies with slower memory speed.

Also I found these:

CMT6GX3M3A1600C6 <- Assuming these truthfully would be same ICs as CMG6GX3M3A2000C7 considering how they clock.

-edit-

but to determ above I would have to see SPD/XMP profiling I believe I've tweaked memory past several years to understand enough from SPD to see where different corsair modules really stands.
