kevint2010
I recently upgraded and purchased a hx850w (silver series) Cosair PSU through Newegg however, in less than two weeks, it died. I was hoping to find a simple solution and found it hard to believe since it had great reviews and everything. After replacing my old psu (hx620w), my computer has no problems. To make sure, I also did the psu functionality check (before sending the box back) and the fan did not spin. Anyways, Newegg approved a rma, but when I asked them if it would be okay if the box did not have the barcode because I had to cut it out to submit the rebate, they said I needed to go through the manufacturer. To make a long story short, I have a rma in progress and the product is scheduled to be delivered back to Cosair today. Does anyone know if the replacement is a recertified product or is it brand new? Thanks in advance, Kevin

kevint2010
Thanks Ram Guy! I already have an RMA number and just waiting on the replacement. What is the turn around time after Cosair receives it from the customer? Kevin
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 14, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 14, 2010 Average turn around time is 7-10 days, but I would suggest contacting our customer service directly for a more accurate estimate. You can contact our customer service at 888-222-4346 and dial "0", (510) 657-8747 or email rmaservice@corsairmemory.com.
kevint2010
I received an email that my return RMA was received and staged for review on 14 Oct. Evidently, my replacement was shipped on the next day and delivered (left at front door) to my apartment yesterday, because when I went out for a jog this morning, the box (replacement) was there :D:. The RMA process was fairly quick. I was actually waiting to be contacted concerning the replacement. Anyways, I have the replacement and will install it later today or this evening. Thanks!
