kamajikaciya
Hi; I'm from Turkey. I'm a newbie here but I need an urgent help. I bought a Corsair TX 950 PSU. It's a good one and works really well. But I have a noise problem. When I'm working with it (from start) I feel there's an airport besides me. On the desktop and without any progress there's still a "wuwuuuuuuu" noise. It works too fast, faster than it should be. I had a Tagan 600W Force II PSU and there was a clicking noise when I try to play a game then I changed it to Corsair TX 950. Now it works well but I cannot ignore the "wuuuwuwuuuu" noise. Is there anything to do on BIOS or on mainboard. I haven't a temp. problem so my CPU working on 28 degree on idle. Is this PSU has any setup or something? And I couldn't find an earthing cable on the PSU. Isn't there one?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 11, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 11, 2010 Is the noise loud consistently or does it only get loud under certain circumstances? Are you able to duplicate the loud noise if the system is sitting in the BIOS or if you boot the system up into safe mode?
kamajikaciya
Well I've made a mistake. I've stopped the CPU fan and the oise didin't stopped but I was drunk I think :). The noise came from CPU fan. The big Zalman :) I cleaned it and the noise lowered but still continues. I guess we need a little oil. Oh and thank you. Sorry for bothering you.
