Asisdead
Hey i have a quick question about the 1000HX that i figured you guys could help me. I have never used a multi rail power supply before and after looking at the rail diagram I just want to make sure i have everything right. I will be getting a new build with two gtx 460's in SLI with an i5 750 and this psu. I was not able to find the exact amps that each 460 uses and was wondering even though the diagram says to put GPU 1+2 on the second 12v rail i just dont want to be using more per rail then i can the cards in question are http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814162056 Galaxies super OC 460. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 11, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 11, 2010 As long as you do not plug 12v1 and 12v2 PCIE cables into the same card then you can hook them up in any configuration. I would plug the first card into the fixed cables on the PSU, and the second card into the 12v1 modular ports on the PSU, but that's not the only way to do it.
