oliveryochest
Hi there One of my sticks is faulty. I have run memtest for each stick seperately. 2 sticks are fine. One won't even allow me to boot into memtest. I tried to go online to submit RMA, however, the model ram is not listed. Could anyone assist me? Thanks in advance. oliveryochest
Hi Yellowbeard. Thank you for the feedback. I have submitted a RMA request. Now, when i do get the RMA ok'ed, do i just send the 1 module back or do i send all 3? Also, how long does the RMA usually take, because i will not have a PC to use during the RMA period. Wired
All 3, and depends on where you are. After you get an RMA, contact customer service and inquire about an advanced RMA.

oliveryochest
Corsair sent me an email today saying that they are going to replace my Tr3x6g2000c7gt with CMG6GX3M3A2000C7. Is that equal to or greater value than my old sticks? I have not emailed them back yet because i thought someone would give me some advise. Thanks in advance

Wired
I don't think it is of equal or greater value.TR3X6G2000C7GT = CMG6GX3M3A2000C7. They are the same memory. They simply updated the part number. They're both 6 GB kits made of three 2 GB sticks that run at 2000 MHz CAS 7 with the GT head spreaders / designation. Now as for CMT6GX3M3A2000C8, the only difference is that it's CAS 8 and you can use the Airflow Pro with it.

oliveryochest
so are the new modules that they are replacing for me equal or of greater value?
Wired
Depends on how you look at it. Again, while the timings are a bit looser, you can use the Airflow Pro with them. Costwise they're probably very similar.
oliveryochest
I feel like I'm being jipped out of this. Purchased my original memory for 600USD and the replacement memory is 250USD
