Perus
Hello! I once had the F60 but returned it because of it's size and all the issues discussed here but now I'm thinking of giving the F120 a chance and use it in my Acer Ferrari One Netbook (FO200) with AMD780G chipset (SB700 controller). I'm using Win7x64 and with stock M$ AHCI-drivers it supports TRIM but not with AMD's AHCI-drivers. The question is if it's safe to buy a F120 and should I use it with TRIM or not before the next f/w (1.1a+)? and should I also disable STR as usual? Perus
It's recommended to use the P series with an OEM system. Is this recommendation for final or just until a new firmware improves the compatibility? I wouldn't expect Acer to release a new bios for my FO200 if that is what it takes to fix the problem... /Per

If it doesn't then just stick with the P IMO.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 12, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 12, 2010 With that system I would suggest using our Performance Series P-128 for best compatibility.
