Hi all,

I've just built a new configuration describe in the title.

I haven't tweaked my Bios yet nor upgraded it.

I often have blue screens, can it be due to dram config in bios (as 1600 is mentionned with OC on the mainboard specs?)

I guess I have to tune dram timings and voltage, but as I've never done it before, I don't really know what to change in order to prevent damaging any composant

(Hope that my english is not to bad, and you can help)

thanks

after looking a bit more on the issue, it seems that I won't be able to use this dram set at 8 8 8 24 2T(1600) with a phenom II even overclocked (due to the 4 stick set)

as I have to set it at 1333 what should the cas value be 9 9 9 24 2T?

and what about the voltage ?

Ok, thanks

as I got it yesterday, I can pretend to an exchange, what 8Gb kit would settle well on my config ?

newegg suggest me this one : CMX8GX3M4A1333C9 is that right ? (even if it has been validated for intel plateforms)

Newegg doesn't have very technically knowledgeable customer service people in my experience. The memory they recommended does not show Corsair approval for an AMD system. I would use the Corsair approved RAM listed at the link below instead.

This is probably the one you want:

Any of the Corsair from the link below will work. There are two 8 GB. kits listed as approved for AMD phenom systems.
