Pestilence6
hello, i just put my PC together and when i hit the power button for the first time the fans on the case come on and then the PC shuts down for 2-5 sec and then powers up. This is the only time this happens. Is this ok with new hardware or not. i also had a problem with the mother board post codes of 26 and 2d(init onboard clock generator and sensor)(video memory test). i am replacing the 460's and put a new video card in (gt 240) and the same power on, off, on. I am having no problems now. any help would be great. Thanks

sding316
wow, how did you find out your power supply was bad? I had it tested on my friend's system. Same result, it couldn't boot the system.
dimsi
When first plugged in it is normal for some bios to post twice, try and unplug from wall, it will probably happen again. My DFI does that and some other better boards too.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 7, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 7, 2010 When first plugged in it is normal for some bios to post twice, try and unplug from wall, it will probably happen again. My DFI does that and some other better boards too. This is true, I've seen lots of boards that behave this way.
