mrroadrunner
Hi everyone! I'm sorry if I bother you with my (maybe) stupid questions. The last days I read through the forum and saw that I am not the only one having the standby problems. First of all: I bought this Corsair CSSD-F120GB2 (Firmware V.1.0) for my HP Touchsmart tm2 -1090eg and it works great until I want my tm2 to go to standby. As I saw in the forum there were suggestions from running different drivers for the controller (HP (ICH9) Mobile SATA AHCI Controller) to settings "suspend to disk" (as RAMGUY recommends; this works). But beside the tip "suspend to disk" nothing works for me neither other driver versions nor any settings in the energy managment (beside "normal shut down", of course). I don't even have randomly restarts or freezings or something else (only the "standby problem"). So my tm2 wakes up after standby, I can see the logon screen but after that it somehow freezes and a short error message appears and the notebook restarts (error message contains different cryptic codes: 0x000000f4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xfffffa8006845810, 0xfffffa8006845af0, 0xfffff80002f855d0). A whole image was saved to: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report-ID: 092410-13603-01. Now I am totally confused about reading of BSOD (blue screen of death?) and freezings with no recognition of the ssd and whatever. Could it be that the 0x000000f4 indicates that I also have a BSOD (although it was ne real "blue screen"). But compared to others in the forum I don't have to do a hard reset or something else. I don't know what is the correct threat to place my problem so please excuse me and thank you for clarifying things. P.S.: I don't know if my system specs could be opened for everyone although I completed the corresponding form. If not, I post them in addition. Synbios
It sounds like you're having the same problem as everyone else. Updating any controller drivers is not going to help right now. The only solution is to not use sleep/standy/hibernate until the new firmware for the Force drive is released.
