PBraithwaite
I bought a Flash Voyager 8GB USB2.0 in February 2009. It came with a 10-year warranty. Recently my husband reformatted the drive and then it was only 4GB. I raised an RMA (1645177) and was requested to send the item back, which I did. It was replaced with a new flash drive. HOWEVER, the packaging for this new flash drive indicates that it has only a two-year warranty. I would like confirmation that the original 10-year warranty will still apply to this replacement item. Bizarrely, the retailer from whom I bought the original flash drive still lists this product as having a 10-year warranty. I thought Corsair still provided 10-year warranties for the flash drives, so I've no idea why the packaging on this one says the warranty is only two years. I raised this as a new RMA (1679603), but only received an automated response asking to return the item. I just want confirmation that the replacement product will have the same warranty as the original one I bought. Thank you. :):

PBraithwaite
So just to clarify... will I definitely get the 10-year warranty on my Corsair flash drive, despite what the packaging says on the product I was sent? Thank you :):
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 1, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 1, 2010 I am sorry but no that product only has a two year warranty.
PBraithwaite
I originally bought a Flash Voyager with a 10-year warranty; I will therefore require that Corsair replace it with an identical product; i.e. one with a 10-year warranty. Sorry, buy trying to wriggle out of the original warranty by sending me a different product (one with only a 2-year warranty) is not acceptable. Shall I raise yet another RMA, or use the latest one, i.e. #1679603? Thank you.

Wired
Is the website correct regarding the length of the warranty for the Flash Voyager?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 4, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 4, 2010 No some flash Voyager product warranties have changed. However it will not change the warranty of a product previously purchased.
