Spiderking
Hello, my X256 worked fine for a month, I installed Win7 64 bit with no problem. After a month motherboard BIOS was blocked on recognizing SSD. First solution: switch off PC from power supply switch and system started again correctly. At the end SSD is not recognized anymore. I try to change SATA channel but the result no change. Motherboard Intel X58 based X256 Firmware: version 2.1 Do you have any suggestions? Thanks. Spiderking
Hello, I discover that if I load default BIOS values and I set again my custom settings SSD is recognize again and fully operational. When I shutdown the system the situation don't change: BIOS don't recognize SSD anymore. Is it a BIOS matter or SSD damage? Any suggenstion? Thank you
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 4, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 4, 2010 Could be a BIOS issue, please check with the MB maker and see if they have a BIOS update available. Also can you test the drive in another system?
