First-Time user newbie questions

I have been around computers for years, but now have here on my desk a new Nova Series 128 gb.

I currently run two 1 tb drives as a RAID 1. I want to do the usual---install the SSD as boot drive, WIN 7, etc., and use the two others for most programs and storage.

I have found many articles on optimizing an SSD, but no simple article on initial installation/configuration.

Do I simply install it, designate it as Boot, install WIN 7 and go from there?

Thanks for any and all comments!

Yes just install Windows 7 normally and select the drive, there in no special steps need with Windows 7 it will see that it is a SSD and align it properly.

Just you may need to delete any partitions on the drive before the install.
