bradmax57
Hi Ive purchased the 2 items above today and they should arrive tomorrow, after reading a thread on another forum Ive found that the backplate can interfere with some components on the back of the motherboard and actually break them under fitting, so in order to fit you have to cut away at some of the rear bracket, think it was the s775 holes, anyway my question is, if i do this would I be able to purchase another backplate bracket for the intel cpu's if and when i change my board and its no longer useable (i.e i change cpu socket) Thanks in advance
FlawlessSoul
https://shop.corsair.com/store/default.aspx/item_view.aspx?id=1510453 Indeed you can. Taking a look at the back of the board, you may indeed have to slightly modify the backplate so it does not crush some of the ICCs. http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2010/06/gigabyte-ga-h55n-usb3-mini-itx-motherboard/h55n-usb3-4.jpg
