600T Control Panel Wiring

In the future I plan on modifying mine so that just the connectors I need are left on the cable. But that's a whole different topic.

Hope you're still kinda monitoring this thread, cause I'd like to say this could be a mistake. If you remove connectors, cut down wire sizes..etc, to fit exactly what you have now, you very possibly leave yourself no room for any upgrades down the road.

I've built 5 PC's for myself and 13 for others and I made that mistake once on one of my machines back when, and when I needed to add another HDD and ODD, I found myself in dire need of things I had eliminated the year before.

Suggestion - if you have room to stow away unused cables in the case, and with the 600T you do, don't limit yourself by doing mods you may regret next year.

Cheers

Dave

Yeah, I'm not using the fan controller or the USB 3 cable and one USB header and was able to route it into the top fan area and store it there. Now the right side of the case doesn't look so messy.

I have got the 600T top exhaust fan and front intake fan connected to the controller. The H50 is wired as suggested.

However, when turning the fan speed controller 'up' there appears to be NO increase in fan speed. Am I missing something here?

I'm also having this issue. I have all the fans connected properly and they are all working but the the controller doesn't appear to have an effect on fan speed. The only thing I notice is that when I turn the controller all the way to the right the white leds on the front intake and top exhaust get a little bit brighter.

I am awaiting shipment of a new build this week, and am getting a 600t -

Is there a way to hook the fans into both the controller and the bios? In the past I have had my fans controlled automatically by temp via the motherboard, so the case is nice and quiet if doing simple audio work, but will automatically vent better if i start pushing stuff and forget to adjust a dial.

Is there an easy way to hook in the 200mm fans on the 600t to the mobo? Or is the only way to control via the knob on the top of the case? I would love to be able to control the fans a bit via the knob, but let the mobo crank up the fans if temps get too hot.

Thanks

can you have the motherboard control the fan speed, while having the 600t case knob control the fan speed as well?

No, one or the other !

TBH the 200mm fans run so slow/quiet that you may aswell leave them on full speed anyway !

Ive just completed my 600T built-up. Since GTX 590 blow hot air both-way out and into the case Ive changed the overall air-flow. The corsair H70 and front 200mm fan both blow-out while on top ive got 2X120mm fan blow in fresh air. It work ok so far with full max-out crysis 2 on my 1080p monitor with 72/73C on gpu and 45/47 on my intel i5.

Ive notice gigabyte GTX 590 has 3 hole screw at inner air-flowand wonder air-fan can be attach there. Im looking at getting motherboard built-in fan for asus sabertooth P67 from asus, if that can cool down the mobo better..

This is my problem. I bought my computer 3 years ago when i didnt know really anything about them. So i bought a 600t and know how to connect the fans and power for control, but i have a built in power supply. So all my cables are female molex 4 pin, including the fan control power. Been looking for a male to male molex 4 pin so i can use all 4 of my fans, cause my old p5n-e sli mobo only supports 1cpu fan+2 extra fans....do they make male to male 4 pin

I agree the documentation sent with the case is rather poor. There does seem to be all the info you need online but if you are in the middle of a build, that doesn't help a whole lot.

I like the design though and the case is fabulous. Wish the white case had a white interior!
