askabl
I am building a new system using Asus P6T7 motherboard, and I7-980x CPU. The motherboard can accomodate 24gig of ram, but do not find this amount listed when I use the memory configurator. I would like to use 24g of ram, and dont plan to overclock any items, just want a stable platform. Ram must be unbuffered according to Asus. Corsair lists 4gig dims x6, and says coming soon. Does anyone have a clue if this might work. I m fairly new to building and sure could use some advice. I read yellowbeards article on ram considerations, but still dont know what to order. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Askabl
Wired
Either 24 GB kit listed here should work fine. http://www.corsair.com/products/corei7/default.aspx
askabl
On both 24 g Ram products, It stated guaranteed to work with bloomtown, but did not mention gulftown(980x).
