MuH Posted September 22, 2010 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Hello, i do have a question i would like to order a second F60 to put them in RAID 0 but i am rly confused because some say TRIM is not supported than or the strip size is star or u cant double up the speed (i do have onboard raid on my motherboard which worked fine with some SATA before) however please give me some information i would rly like to buy another one if usefull :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yellowbeard Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 The SandForce Duraclass technology states that it does have garbage collection on the controller which should operate independently of the OS and TRIM. Over time you will see some decline in speed from the day the array is new but, the GC will maintain performance at an acceptable level.
