deathxcs
Greetings, I recently purchased a Corsair 550w VX (I think that's the name of it) power supply, and I am currently going through the process of installing it. But I was wondering, there is a fan on the back of the power supply, but also one that will be on the inside of the case, and I don't know what this fan is for. But the main question is, I'm not sure which direction to have it face, because if I install the PSU 'upside down', the inside fan will be facing the parts, but if it's installed with the Corsair logo the right way up, it will be right up against the case Any help is really appreciated. Yellowbeard
As long as there is a bit of space for the fan to pull air in, it will be fine either way. 1/4" - 1/2" of spacing minimum so that the PSU fan can move air to cool the PSU.
