F60 - Used 16 days so far

I have been using F60 about little more than 2 weeks now.

Since this is my first SSD, I was fascinated by the speed boost.

I did see little bit of performance decrease compared to very first shot i took from ATTO. I did have a bio not recognize boot disk once. I was downloading like 10gb, so I didn't shut down my computer. I came back and I had BSOD and bio couldn't find boot disk. I had to restart to fix it. After bio recognized boot disk and window 7 said it caused BSOD.

I thought my F60 was perfectly fine, but maybe mine is also affected :(

I'll give another week to try and deicde if I should keep this or not.

I'm in the same situation as the original poster. Performance is impressive and I can usually get by with turning off my system every day. On the other hand I'm presently a bit down after seeing how running with TRIM off doesn't help much, but only prolongs the time before the drive starts to act up. Will probably keep waiting but I'll consider checking with the vendor for a possibility to "upgrade" my purchase to some other sandforce based drive. If I were less experienced I might have assumed that Corsair weren't shipping these drives for the moment...

Sandforce is the main issue.

Did you disable hiberation and sleep mode?

Leave your computer on before you go to sleep and let us know.

off and off, both of those store/write to the ssd (i think?) so they are turned off.

only thing that 'sleeps' are the monitors, not the rig itself. i took a snapshot using crystaldisk and would like to know if it looks good to you guys. thank you. http://i51.tinypic.com/2q381nb.gif

Thanks for the extra info. Perhaps Corsair has a more detailed account on the hardware configs that were affected, but from what I've seen most of the problems arise on newer i7 based chipsets (perhaps has something to do with the involved controller?).

Interested to see that you're running a core2quad. Most if not all of the reports have been on 64bit systems, if I recall correctly there was a guy in the main thread saying that he was unaffected on a x86 system. You're still running 64bit but its an older model so again that points in the direction of the involved drive controllers for the chipset.

I think you're the first person to come to the forums and report this from what I've seen..

Well let me jump in as the second one...

Running a Corsair F60 for about 3 weeks now, no glitches, not a single BSOD.

Intel i7 920@ 2.67 GHz on a Gigabyte EX58UDP4, 6GB DDR3, Wind 7 64 Bit, AHCI mode.

Hibernation disabled.

The disk was partitioned by Windows during the install, so it carries the Windows 100MB partition and the c-drive, solely for the operating system and programs.

For the whole story see: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=89841

i7 950@4.0Ghz, MSI X58A-GD65, 6GB DDR3-2000, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and ofc Corsair F60 firmware 1.1, AHCI Mode, Hibernate Off.

I didnt have any problem so far as ppl say, well actually it is up for like 5 days, but I didnt close my computer even one time. I have been using this SSD for like a month now.

Your ATTO results are excellent and right on par with normal results for the Force.

Glad to hear that somebody is enjoying it.

Looks like you're using firmware 1.1

I don't think corsair have official released 1.1 firmware yet.
