theslyder
It's been doing this for a while, I'm not sure how to fix it. Any suggestions?
Synthohol
how does it read in disk manager? have you tried formatting it?
theslyder
What do you mean by "disk manager?" Are you referring to the properties menu of the drive? If that's the case, that's where I'm getting the 3.75ishGB from. (Just to eliminate this factor early on, at one point the drive functioned as an 8GB drive, so there's no chance that I'm just mistaken on its capacity.) How do I go about formatting it, and I'll give that shot.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 20, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 20, 2010 If you are using Windows in control panel under Administrative tools then Computer Management you will find disk management then look on the screen bellow to see if it using all of the space available. Also did you format the drive with another utility or O.S. like on a MAC?
theslyder
Sorry for the long absence, I've been pretty busy lately. I formatted it, and under the disk manager it only showed the 4GB (Slightly under 4GB, actually), and didn't show any other space that was unallocated. I've used it with 7, Vista, and XP, but no other "brand" of OS like Mac or Linux. How bizarre that it could just cut itself in half like this.
