Problem with TW3X4G1333C9A & Win 7 64-bit BSOD

Recommended Posts

I have just recently upgraded from Win XP Pro to Win 7 pro on an ASUS P5P43TD/USB3 mobo, with HX520 PSU & ASUS EN8800GT graphics card. I am now experiencing problems at start-up with Blue Screen Of Death. I have replaced the processor to a Q9400 from Q6600 to no avail. I have also done a clean install with all the Windows 7 registered drivers. The problem seems to only occur on a cold-start (various error codes). If I turn the power off and wait 20 seconds then start again all is fine.

ASUS mobo handbook says this memory is approved for mobo, despite Corsair web site not quoting this motherbaord (or any other recent ASUS mobo's)

Any idea's
