Max Pump Speed?

And what is the minimum speed?

Does it affect cooling performance?

On my P35-DS3 it runs at 1300-1400 with a buzz sound.(chassis fan connector 100%)

On the Asus Striker Extreme it runs at 1104-1162 (chassis fan connector 100%)

The pump should ALWAYS be set to it's highest RPM's, nominally 1400 RPM.

The pump loses efficency, if it is running any slower than the max possible, which is ~1400 RPM. I've tested the pump RPM's to see if the 1400 RPM was past a more efficient and lower RPM, it is not, as any drop on pump RPM lowers it's efficiency (CPU core temperatures rise).

Some MB do not provide 100% power to all fan headers after booting, don't know exactly why this is so, but that's just the way it is.

For example, I have Speedfan installed and in my startup folder, the push/pull fans appear to start up a ~50%, but once Speedfan is up and running, those two fans go up to their 100% RPM values. It is real obvious when this happens as you can't even hear the push/pull fans prior to Speedfan kicking in.
