tarek001
Hey, new here. Ive been trying to find some decent info on the net but kept getting conflicting answers/information, so i thought id try my luck here. First off, checking the SMART DATA on the ssd seems to bring up a couple of flags. The CRC errors and the offline uncorrectable error count seem to be rather high for the age of the drive. The Read of the drive is per spec but write is down in the 100-140 region. Im also getting not so great results running AS SSD benchmark. I would like to know if it would be worth re-imaging the drive, or whether the best course of action should be an RMA if the Smart data is accurate. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 13, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 13, 2010 That is not uncommon and nothing to worry about as long as the drive is running properly and it appears to be running fine.

Ok Thanks for that. Might just give it a re-image to boost the write speeds then.

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 15, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 15, 2010 I would direct that question at the makes of the software, however its an approximation based on information that can change for good or bad when you secure erase the drive so I would not put much into it.
